The certification from National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) National Commercial Building Contractors, allows Joe to serve as a Qualifying Agent for any company that needs a general contractors license and wants to do business in any of these states. This General Contractor license certification is good for following states: AL, AZ, AK, FL, GA, LA, MS, NV, NC, OR, SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and USVI
The certification allows for training of work zone flaggers in both one-and two person flagging operations. Controlling traffic through work areas is one of the most important – and dangerous – operations in construction maintenance. completion. The training provided meet the federal industry guidelines of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the ANSI standard ISEA-107-2015; The Office of Highway Safety; the Federal Highway Administration.
The Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification is designed for individuals who demonstrate competency and work in health and safety activities devoted to the prevention of construction illnesses and injuries. The CHST certification meets national standards for certifications.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) ensures safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards, and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance. We are certified in:

- OSHA Fall Hazard Awareness for Construction Industry
To earn this certificate Joe Shaw completed a minimum of nine (9) courses, comprised
of required and elective courses, which include a minimum of 175.5 contact hours of
training through OTI Education Center courses to earn the Certified Safety & Health
Official Construction Industry certificate. The training encompassed all areas of
construction, environmental health and safety standards and best practices.
HAZWOPER training is required for workers who respond to the uncontrolled release of
hazardous substances. The course you need depends on your job function, responsibilities, and previous level of training. Shawn Taylor is certified to teach the 8-hour HAZWOPER annual refresher training.
The Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification demonstrates knowledge to perform remediation work and an understanding of water damage, its effects, and techniques for drying structures. Shawn Taylor received his certificate from IICRC. The Institute of Inspection Cleaning an Restoration Certification (IICRC) is a non-profit organization for the Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Industries. Upon
achieving this certification, Shawn has the background to understand the procedures
necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.
To earn this certificate Joe Shaw completed a minimum of nine (9) courses, comprised
of required and elective courses, which include a minimum of 175.5 contact hours of
training through OTI Education Center courses to earn the Certified Safety & Health
Official Construction Industry certificate. The training encompassed all areas of
construction, environmental health and safety standards and best practices.
This certificate allows Tremayne Anderson to help companies identify hazards, determine regulatory requirements, and implement corrective actions. He can perform risk analysis for key job processes and conduct safety audits and inspections.
Shawn Taylor completed this 12-week course which provided a deeper understanding of
real estate finance for development projects and investments, including budgeting, cost
estimating, and predicting and mitigating risks. Shawn received the training certificate
from Emeritus in collaboration with Columbia Engineering Executive Education.
To earn this certificate Joe Shaw completed a minimum of nine (9) courses, comprised
of required and elective courses, which include a minimum of 175.5 contact hours of
training through OTI Education Center courses to earn the Certified Safety & Health
Official Construction Industry certificate. The training encompassed all areas of construction, environmental health and safety standards and best practices.The US Army Corps of Engineers and Naval Facilities Engineering Command requires all contractors performing construction on Corps projects to comply with the “Contractor Quality Control” (CQC), provisions in their contracts. Joe Shaw is a certified Quality Control Manager and can provide this service.

Flagger Training
Approved by the National Safety Council, this course trains personnel in safe flagging operations for construction sites. Attendees will receive a certificate of course completion, valid for four years.

Preparing Bids and Project Start-Up Training
Gain essential knowledge for preparing bids and starting new construction projects. This course covers everything from Builder’s Risk Insurance to Project History Fact Sheets.

Know Your Cost Course
